Construction Waste Recycling Equipment Introduction
Construction waste recycling equipment provides a convenient and efficient way to complete the crushing, screening and impurity removal of construction waste. After sorting, the material passes through dedicated iron removal equipment to extract ferrous metals, and is then reduced by primary, secondary and even fine crushing stages into recycled sand and aggregate of a specified particle size. The finished products are used for roadbed materials, non-fired bricks, cement admixtures and similar applications.
Applications of Construction Waste Recycling Equipment
The plant crushes and screens concrete fragments, asphalt blocks, brick, stone, timber, plastics, gypsum and mortar, steel and non-metallic materials.
Input Materials
Mixed construction and demolition waste made up of road concrete blocks, asphalt concrete blocks, old building blocks and general construction debris.
Output Products
Iron, steel, impurities, plastics, and stone and brick in a range of sizes. All screened material is ultimately used for roadbed stone, non-fired bricks, cement admixtures and other recycled construction materials.

Construction Waste Recycling Process
Raw construction waste is fed by the vibrating feeder into the crusher. The crushed material travels on a belt conveyor — an iron removal device mounted above the belt extracts ferrous metal during transport — to the screening station. Screening separates the material into four fractions: 0–5 mm, 5–10 mm, 10–15 mm and above 15 mm (configurable to customer requirements). The 5–10 mm and 10–15 mm fractions pass through light material separation before discharge, while material above 15 mm returns to the crusher in a closed circuit.
Depending on local policy and site conditions, urban construction waste treatment generally falls into two categories: centralised treatment using a stationary construction waste recycling system, and decentralised treatment using mobile crushing and screening plants.
Centralised Treatment — Stationary Construction Waste Recycling System
Centralised treatment means collecting construction waste at a designated site for unified sorting and processing. Based on market feedback, two equipment options suit centralised treatment: a stationary complete crushing plant, or a mobile crushing and screening combination that can be relocated easily.
A stationary crushing configuration is built from a full sand and aggregate production line, including a jaw crusher, impact crusher (or cone crusher), sand making machine, vibrating screen and conveyors. It processes the concrete, waste brick and stone in construction waste according to the standard aggregate production flow, turning it back into usable resources. Winner has developed sand and aggregate production lines for many years and can provide a sound design tailored to each site.
Decentralised Treatment — Mobile Crushing and Screening Plant
Where construction waste is scattered, or where a site is divided into several treatment zones, mobile crushing equipment avoids duplicated capital expenditure and lowers overall equipment cost. Winner’s mobile crushing plants can now be freely combined across models, with standard, closed-circuit, single-unit and multi-stage configurations available to match site requirements.
Mobile plants are offered in both wheel-mounted and track-mounted versions, making it straightforward to move between sites and work several locations in rotation.
Project Case — Xiangtan Construction Waste Recycling Project
This project covers a recycled asphalt mixing plant together with complete equipment for the recovery, crushing, screening, washing, transport and reuse of cement concrete.
A complete construction waste recycling line has been built in cooperation with Winner, with an annual throughput of up to 3 million tonnes. It applies an advanced closed-circuit crushing system, pulse bag dust suppression and light material separation, along with several of Winner’s circular-economy technologies, addressing the screening difficulties and heavy dust generation typical of construction waste processing.
